Were guests in the summer and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere on the terrace! Will definitely be back.

We ended up eating there every night during our short vacation. Everything was excellent. The flavor combinations are sometimes unexpected but always very good. We felt welcome there with our dog and we were in good hands. You should reserve in advance. The trip to Mittenwald was worth it just because of the restaurant.

Absolute recommendation - stopped by for lunch after a hike. Starting with the friendly and very attentive service to the very high quality cuisine. We are already looking forward to the next visit to test the exciting evening menu!

We didn't feel comfortable there. We were there at lunchtime around 1:15 p.m. with 8 people and wanted to have a drink. We were only reluctantly offered a table because it was actually lunch. Only nobody came during the stay. So get out after a drink and don't enter the restaurant again.

We were on vacation in Mittenwald for a week with my wife. This restaurant can only be recommended from front to back! The cook can definitely do something! Flavorful, qualitative and also pleasing to the eye are served here in an idyllic setting (with a view of the Karwendel Mountains). The portion size is also okay. I think few restaurants in Mittenwald will be able to keep up with this in terms of quality. In addition to the "normal" Mittenwald drinks, they also offer something different when it comes to drinks. So if you want something special and that at absolutely fair prices, you are in good hands here. Very good. First visit was on the Philipino evening where the entire menu was replaced with authentic Philipino dishes. Addition: when we returned on a normal evening it was a lot less. Bad communication skills and food knowledge by the server. Also, when we wanted to order our food they said there was no fish. And not in the sense that they were all out, it seemed like they just didn't buy any in that day.

We went to eat here because of the good reviews and weren't disappointed. It is really still a little insider tip. The inn itself is rather inconspicuous, but squeaky clean. The operation is fast and still leaves enough time for the selection. The food is well presented and a little unusual. It's hard to explain, just give it a try. It's just fun to eat there. I've never had a dessert with red cabbage, unusual with that certain something. The surprise menu, but it is better to order in advance. Then the price. A high quality and also local quality. We are out with 70 €, there were 2 main courses, 2 desserts and 4 drinks. Nobody can really say anything. Changing seasonal menus are also offered. Attention is paid to allergies. Also suitable for vegans (I'm not one, but I think it's great when it's offered) The cook also looks at the guests from time to time, he is very open to suggestions, which gives something personal to the whole thing. As you can see, I was completely satisfied. Just a fresh, young kitchen with Bavarian-Asian roots, which sounds as unusual as it sounds, works well.

First and foremost you should teach the waitress to be polite. But that surprises me because she is Asian and it is said that these people are always friendly. It already started when I asked to get a little more lemon for my water. My goodness! She should have put it on the bill instead of complaining about saying it was expensive! After another question about W-LAN code, she answered rather sloppily. The food was usually styled upscale but cramped. Price-performance ratio very bad. Never again. We are usually very generous with tips. This time she just got € 2 for half a lemon.

Incredibly good food! Lovingly presented and quickly prepared, even though it was full! The menu is more unusual than in any other inn in the area - that's certainly due to the young owner team! Elias cooked very well and there was even an extra greeting from the kitchen! And Lynsette served us very friendly and briskly! Clear recommendation if you are looking for something special in Mittenwald!

For us the best restaurant in Mittenwald. We ate there several times and it was always delicious. Very varied dishes and not the "uniformity" that you often get. We particularly like the quality of the products used. Many regional products. The "hosts" are super nice and do their job with a lot of passion. All in all a great concept!

The service was very friendly and advisory. The selection is wide, which is why we couldn't easily decide which drinks to choose. So we were offered to try different wines, beers and lemonades, which we did. Furthermore, it was very interesting to see that the menu also had vegan dishes, which were a real experience due to different components and because the dishes also had a touch of other cultures. It is definitely recommended to stop here and have something to eat.

Genuine Bavarian restaurant with great food and beer. The chef is relatively young but very experienced and puts a nice touch on the dishes. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines. We received very good advice on which wine to pair with our food. In addition, some nights there is live music, Bavarian of course. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in this lovely restaurant.

Wonderful experience, superb quality all-around!

We were there in the afternoon with 4 adults and 3 children. The service was perfect and the food incredibly delicious. I have never eaten a better schnitzel. Although we had many extra requests, everything was perfect. We can fully recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful food, dishes based on Bavarian favorites, dressed up with a lighter and fresher touch, such as fresh vegetables, herbs and fish. The restaurant is small and cosy, service is friendly, and it is a family run business.

Had lunch here on a very quiet day and were courteous and individually catered for. Great kitchen that responds well to special requirements, such as intolerance. Were very positively impressed and will definitely come again!

Extremely slow service. I ordered the special of the day which was asparagus with a small schnitzel for 17 euro. It consisted of only 3 asparagus and a 10cm long piece of schnitzel...

If you're up for a proper local experience with proper local food these lovely folk will look after you. Lovely people, lovely locals, lovely food. Yeah it took a while, but the beer and company while we waited was more than enough to keep us going. When we visited here last time a lovely old local gent who had probably drunk a few sundowners spontaneously got up and did a proper Baverian yodel :) ...how cool is that!

Food took almost an hour to arrive. When it finally did, it wasn't what we ordered. Had to eat it because waiting for another hour was out of the question. How was it? Mediocre. Avoid, unless you're practicing zen dining.

We really love this typical place. The food was delicious and the guys over there were very nice. We will definitely return there ans also we strongly recommend the place.
